World Congress 2026

A. The World Congress of Natural Democracy (WCND) 2026 is a global academic and civilizational congress encompassing 24 university-level disciplines, including philosophy, sociology, political science, ecology, education, law, and related fields. It is dedicated to the study, ethical grounding, and applied frameworks of Natural Democracy—a universal democratic paradigm that integrates humanity, Earth, and planetary responsibility, advancing democracy beyond political systems toward a holistic civilizational vision.

A. WCND 2026 is the first world congress in human history to formally articulate democracy as a planetary, civilizational, and intergenerational responsibility, extending beyond nation-states and political institutions.

A. “Democracy on Earth – Democracy with Earth | Universal Nationality: Beyond Boundaries.”

A. WCND 2026 is organized by World Natural Democracy (WND), a registered Indian organization and a grassroots-based global intellectual movement active for over a decade. WND works in the fields of nature and Earth rights, environmental protection, river conservation, peace discourse, and ethical democratic awareness. Its research wing, the Freedom Studies Research Centre, is dedicated to the study and advancement of freedom, human dignity, and civilizational responsibility within the framework of Natural Democracy.

A. No. WCND is non-political, non-partisan, and academically grounded. It functions as a civilizational and ethical inquiry rather than a political movement.

A. Natural Democracy is a universal governance philosophy rooted in truth, natural law, ecological balance, justice, and civilizational ethics.

A. It expands democratic responsibility beyond human institutions to include ecosystems, future generations, and planetary continuity.

A. No. Natural Democracy does not seek to replace existing political systems. Rather, it calls for the expansion and ethical renewal of democracy. It understands democracy not merely as a mechanism of governance, but as a universal civic ethic—integrating rights with responsibilities and extending beyond nation-states to humanity and the Earth. To safeguard the planet, governance must adopt a planetary vision; to sustain the globe, democratic duties and moral accountability must likewise become global in scope.

A. No. It is universal, inclusive, and respectful of all civilizations, cultures, and belief systems. It affirms the moral and democratic rights of unborn generations, recognising that the present world order—often unknowingly—systematically exploits the rights and resources of those yet to be born. Natural Democracy therefore extends ethical and universal accountability beyond the living, insisting that justice must include future human life within the democratic horizon.

A. Natural Democracy was conceived and systematically developed by the Indian writer and philosopher Dr. Jawaid Abdullah in 2014, first articulated in his foundational work. The concept was further expanded and consolidated in 2018 through his book World Natural Democracy, and institutionally established in 2016 with the formation of the eponymous organization. Its decade-long journey was commemorated in 2024 with a landmark Decadal Assembly, marking ten years of conceptual and practical development.

A. Certainly, World Natural Democracy—or Natural Democracy—may be read. However, the book is not yet widely available. Originally written in Hindi, its Third Revised Edition is expected to be released during the World Congress of Natural Democracy 2026, at which time an English translation will also be made available.

A. WCND 2026 encompasses 24 university-level disciplines, including Philosophy, Comparative Religions, History, Anthropology, Political Science, International Relations, Behavioural Sciences, Education & Pedagogy, Law & Peace Studies, Sociology, Environment & Ecology, Pollution Studies, Geography, Agriculture, Economics, Women’s Studies, Journalism & Media Studies, Literature & Cultural Studies, Natural & Life Sciences, Mathematics, Digital & AI Ethics, and Medical, Health & Well-Being Sciences.
